A free quiz for women who want to understand what keeps desire engaged for them, what turns it off, and why certain dynamics present in smut hit so much harder than others.
Some women need devotion. Some need emotional depth, intensity, atmosphere, or a painfully slow build. This free quiz helps you figure out which conditions keep desire present for you, and how things like past experiences, stress, or trauma may be shaping the way those patterns show up.
truth be told
You already know what works for you.
You just may not know why.
The books you obsess over, the scenes you reread, the dynamics that make your whole body pay attention: they can tell you a lot about how your desire likes to be met. And when trauma or past experiences are part of the picture, those preferences can become even more specific.
This quiz helps you put words to that.
what's inside the free quiz?
You already know which books make you lose your mind. This quiz helps you understand what those reactions may be telling you about your own desire.
Eight questions designed around the way you naturally respond to tension, intimacy, pacing, devotion, and emotional connection.
Five different desire patterns that help explain why certain books keep you completely engaged while others lose you halfway through.
A primary result that shows what tends to keep desire present for you and what can make your interest disappear surprisingly fast.
A secondary pattern to help explain why you can love one part of a book or dynamic while another part still doesn’t quite work for you.
A closer look at how the same preferences can show up outside of smut, including attraction, dating, intimacy, and the way you respond to connection.
A trauma-aware way to notice how safety, pacing, emotional consistency, and intensity can shape desire, without turning every preference into something that needs to be fixed.
Book recommendations that match each pattern so you can see those dynamics play out somewhere familiar.
Chloé
Hi, I’m Chloé, a sexologist, certified clinical aromatherapist, and the woman behind Her by Chloe.
I started studying sexology (by accident) because, after my own sexual trauma, I was desperate to understand why my body could want one thing and react like it wanted another. That curiosity eventually led me into sexology, nervous-system research, and the way smut can reveal what helps desire stay present.
Now I teach women how to make sense of their own patterns around desire, attraction, intimacy, and trauma, without overcomplicating the hell out of it.
If I’m not writing, teaching, or talking about women’s desire, I’m probably reading something smutty, highlighting half the book, or overthinking a fictional man.
Desire can get complicated after life, stress, and trauma.
Understanding what your body responds to is a good place to start.
